Gangs claim zones through an attack-and-defend system. A zone’s respect value climbs daily when held, strengthening NPC defenders and increasing cash generation — so a zone held for a week is genuinely harder to take than one captured yesterday. Connected zones can be configured to limit visibility to adjacent territory, which pushes gangs to expand deliberately rather than cherry-picking isolated spots.
